| In Honor of 58 French Paratroopers |

On 23 October 1983 minutes after the bombing of the Marine Barracks at the Beirut International Airport the French Paratroopers Headquarters was attacked by terrorist suicide bomber destroying their headquarters and killing 58 French Peacekeepers. Even with their building being destroyed and having dying and wounded soldiers of their own. The French Peacekeeping force send one of two medical team of doctors and medical staff to the Marine Barracks at the airport to help with the wounded and dying American Marines |
